Tasks on Firefox Icon on Toolbar
When I right click on the Firefox Icon on my Taskbar I have 3 other options., At the top it says Tasks. How did this get there? On my laptop I don't see this option. How do I add additional Tasks or remover them?

Are you sure it was the Firefox icon? What were the other choices?
Underneath the Tasks, is Open New Tab, Open new window, and New Private window. Definitely has to do with Firefox.
Surely I'm not the only one that has this?
I called for more help. What happens when you select Tasks?
If I click on any of the 3 tasks it does exactly what I clicked on. If I click on open a Private Window that's exactly what I get.
Ahh. 'Tasks' is a label. Don't worry about it.
That wasn't the issue. Just wondered how those THREE items are showing up and where they came from.
Thanks anyway.
I have what you describe on my computer... I think it's just the recent Firefox default... Haven't found a way to edit/change/delete them...
It's curious that your two computers are different... Could you be running two different versions of FFx or two different computer operating systems?
I'm running OS10 with FFx 60.0.
It would be interesting to be able to customize them...

It can be, a little bit. Open the browser to any web page. Mouse to the address bar icon. Hold down the left button, and drag and drop it on top of the Firefox taskbar icon. Now right-click the icon.
That's really cool, FMcD! You can pin sites to the FFx icon! Good one :)
Yes, that could be the reason. The one I use all the time is Windows 7 Professional and the other one is running Windows 10
Thanks to EVERYONE for the tips. I will take a look at all your suggestions.
