Hi,

i use dual screen monitors and often drag a tab and drop it on the other screen to get a new window. in 60-80% i get an error from the JavaScript Application: [TypeError: can't access dead object] This error sometimes appears even when i start FF and restore my previous session with some windows. If i use two windows i.e. one of them cant be used but the other works well. I use Ubuntu 14.04 and FF 38

best regards daniel

In the past there was a drag and drop addon that caused this error. Do you have something similar installed? What is recommended when an add on throws this error is to contact the developer:

If there are no add ons, try a new profile to see if there is a minor corruption:

Are any private browsing windows involved in this scenario, or only regular windows?

thx for response guys!

@guigs: the only tab related add on i have is "Tab Mix Plus 0.4.1.8" and one drag and drop add on "dragdropupload 1.9.381-signed". How do i know or how can proof if this add on is the root of the evil?

@jscher: only regular windows
