Has anybody else had this problem? After downloading, installing and using Firefox 9.0.1, the thing just disappears into thin air after a reboot or shut down and start up. I did call Apple Care Support, they suggested I do a disk check up, which I did, but he had no answer to this issue, as it doesn't happen with any other app, just with Firefox

Make sure that Firefox gets installed properly.

Open the Firefox disk image (DMG) file and drag the Firefox program to the application folder on your hard drive.
You shouldn't double-click the Firefox application to run it from the disk image, but drag it out of the DMG folder instead.

I'm on Windows Vista and having the same problem. I just now installed it, and looking at Task Manager, it says that Firefox is running, using 8,674K Memory, that seems a bit on the low side to me. Looks like it's just lurking, not doing anything at all.
