Firefox keeps asking to use 3.6.13 update although "about firefox " in help shows firefox is already using 3.6.13.
After updating to Firefox 3.6.13 I keep getting notifications to update to version 3.6.13 after I have installed the update and restarted Firefox. Looking at the Help tab "About Mozilla Firefox" the version shown is 3.6.13.
This notification keeps appearing every time I open Firefox. Some times while I am using the browser in other tasks.

Reinstalling Firefox as directed in the first step under Updates reported when running newest version worked.
Program now works correctly again. Thanks for your assistance cor-el.
