Hi, I run TB on 2 machines. On one (running Win10) Supernova downloaded automatically, odd as I thought you had to opt in to get it. (The other running Win11 is still on v102). No problem as it looks good. (I'll make any suggestions separately.) But I'm concerned about migration as I have a lot of messages, both archived and in live folders. Judging by some forum responses version 102 should still be lurking in the background. Is that right? And if so what's the migration plan once Supernova is out of beta? And as I was about to move storage location from C: to D: for space issues, is it best to hold off until Supernova is fully live?

115 (supernova) is now live, but autoupdate is, to my knowledge, not yet on. You should have no problem updating from 102 to 115. Since it is a major upgrade, I recommend doing a backup prior to the update, if only for protection against any unexpected glitches. As far as moving storage locations, those technical mechanics have not changed. Personally, and not for any technical reasons, I would recommend making the changes for storage now with 102, since you're familiar with that.

"You should have no problem updating from 102 to 115" - this ain't easy at all (?!? - used to be a mozilla strength)! I have tons of folders and servers (Linux eOS Horus/ubuntu jammy) and fiddling them all in manually will cost me the whole weekend. The update destroyed my old 102 profile (backup done before) and even transferring some setting about the servers did not help. May be I wait for 116 or later ...

Thunderbird's fundamental behavior has changed since moving to Supernova When I click on an email folder, the cursor is always in the middle of the list whereas before it put me on the last emails received. What could be causing this?
