I can’t close tabs by clicking/touching/pressing the ’x’ on the right of the tab header. It only works very randomly. I have to press the number of tabs square to get the tabs overview, there I can close the tab(s) I want.

Same problem here on iPad Pro. It appears the tabs aren’t wide enough to accommodate both the tab label and the X for closing. Makes it impossible for me to completely switch away from Chrome as I’d like to do.

Update - Tabs seems to close dependably using X on older iPad Pro (original 12.9”) but not on the newest 4th gen iPad Pro 12.9”. Same updated IOS version and latest Firefox version.

I have a iPad 8th generation running iOS 14.6 and Firefox 34 with this same problem

Same problem. Device: iPad Pro 4th Gen 12.9 iPadOS: 14.6 (18F72) Firefox: version 34

Same problem. I keep hoping the updated versions will fix this but hasn't yet... iPad Air 3 iOS 14.6 Firefox 34.1

This is a serious issue being unable to close tabs?! The x not even being visible on the tabs is reason enough to stop using this browser but actually hitting the x and them staying open is completely unacceptable.

I have the same problem with Firefox 35.0 (5448) on an iPad Pro 10.5 inch running iPad OS 4.7.1

This problem has been there for two months. Can someone fix this?
