Any time I try to download something, Firefox crashes. I have tried the safe mode, and it cannot save from the crashes. Anything else I can do to fix it?

Is Firefox only crashing with downloads? No other time?

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP- in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

Using your mouse, mark the most recent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.

Some of your crash reports weren’t sent to the Mozilla Servers.

Sorry, I forgot to tell, I have checked that before, and there's no crash report there. And yes, Firefox only crashes when downloading.

Is there this issue in Safe Mode? I think here is issue with some addon. Look for broken addon and disable that.

Go to about:support , then open Profile Folder, find User.js and Prefers.js , yeah, close the browser and rename these files just to check (example user-1.js and prefers-1.js). Start the browser.

What do you mean by this?

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode

Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons (extensions and themes). If the problem goes away, that tells us one thing. If it does not, that tells us something else.

This download manager works separately from the browser. The browser tells it what to download, and off it goes.

http://www.freedownloadmanager.org It is a powerful modern download accelerator and organizer for Windows and Mac.
