Deleting message from Inbox just recently is sometimes slow, other times immediate (as in the past)
Slowness is the same whether one message or a dozen or more. There doesn't seem to be any correlation in anything I'm doing that determines whether it's fast or slow, and no recent software changes. Problem doesn't seem to exist when deleting from Sent. I have Thunderbird 45.6.0, and AV is Kaspersky Total Security.

try creating an exception in Kaspersky for your Thunderbird profile folders. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-thunderbird-stores-user-data#w_where-is-my-profile-stored
I added my profile folder to Kaspersky exceptions, but still have random delays in deleting from Inbox.
