I have uninstalled and reinstalled flash. I have turned off protected mode. I have done the refresh firefox thing. Flash is still crashing every. single. time. I'm being forced to use chrome (insert spitting on floor in disgust). I'm running windows 10 (new laptop, bulit in), and this problem has been happening for maybe a week.

hi Bunnybunkin, if this issue started showing up recently as you said, please try the following: enter about:config into the firefox address bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up) & search for the preference named dom.ipc.plugins.asyncdrawing.enabled. double-click it and change its value to false.

Spot on, that seems to have fixed it. Thanks very much for saving my sanity!
