I'm on vacation, using a public (non-password protected) wifi connection in a hotel.

My bank's website is using an Extended Validation Certificate, hence the address bar should be green. Yet, right now, the address bar is no longer green (but it does show the lock icon). I checked some other TLS sites and, for example, https://www.verisign.com/ does show a green address bar. I also checked in Internet Explorer, which does show a green address bar. I compared the version and fingerprint for the certificates in Internet Explorer vs Firefox and they match.

Is this a known issue? If not: has anything changed in Firefox 31.0 that could result in this?

Cheers, Refund.

P.S. Yes, I contacted my bank, their advice is to download and install Google Chrome because: 'Their experience with Chrome is better than with Firefox.' and see if the address bar stays green.

What do you see in "Tools > Page Info > Security" if you click the padlock and click the "More Information" button? Are there any other icons on the location/address bar like a shield or exclamation mark?

If there is a shield icon to the left of the "Site Identity Button" (globe/padlock) on the location/address bar then that means that mixed active content is blocked.
