About 3 weeks ago I started getting this pop up box randomly appear. It coincides with high CPU usage and will generate multiple boxes shingled on top of each other. What is it and how do I fix it? I've tried multiple online guides but nothing seems to work. Thanks.

I imported my bookmarks from chrome and there are thousands of bookmark folders. I wish to delete multiple folders at one time. All the answers I have found online do not seem to work. Is there a way in managing bookmarks to select and delete multiple "FOLDERS" at one time? TIA.

Deleted all tabs and bookmarks. Firefox has been doing that for too long now. Get your act together. Too many updates. Too many times you delete everything. The hassle getting it all back, should not be needed & you refuse to sort it. Why do I think that? Because the same problem has been happening, for at least 10year.

I am going through the https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/containers#w_manage-your-containers page and I dont have the option to add new containers when I click on the icon. I am only shown the choice to open the current page into one of the default containers. If I open a new empty tab, this icon doesnt show up in the url bar.

I have gone through the manage extensions options as well and I cant find a similar option. Can anybody point out what I am missing?

Operating System : Ubuntu Lunar Lobster (23.04) x64 Firefox version : 116.0.3 (64-bit) installed via snap

I use Panorama Groups. If I click on a tab I then land on that page, however the tabs at the top of the screen seem to move so I lose where the place of the tab I clicked on. Its frustrating as I try and put relevant tabs close to each other so I can swap between them. Because this happens I have to go and hunt for the tab I am using as there maybe 20 or more in a group its a pain. Please help or even suggest an alternative group add-in. TIA

A couple nights ago my menu bar disappeared. I'm running FF 116.03 on an older MacBook Pro. I have now spent several hours searching on what's gone wrong, but none of the following have proved fruitful:

And probably more things I cannot even remember at this point. I'm beyond frustrated as all I seem to be able to do is show/hide the Title Bar.

I can't seem to find anyone else reporting this issue.

I have tried to make sure cookies are enabled at BigFish.com website but I have probably made things worse or did it wrong. Both problems follow me around and please understand I have also been in contact with BigFish techs but I am not getting far in any solution.

I was told to clear the browser cache which I have done both for Firefox and BigFish but I can detect no difference at all. I am still told at the BF website that cookies are needed in order for me to enter.

I am at my wits' end with this and at my age of 83 I feel like I am rushing on that downhill slide much more quickly due to this problem. I feel that I have made some error in my wildly clicking around but I don't always understand the terminology exactly.

If anyone knows how to explain this to me in perhaps easy steps I would be most appreciative.

When going to NCL.com the page takes a long time to open, then is just straight text. Tried refresh and it still does the same. It comes up in a few seconds, properly, with Microsoft Edge. I am sure there is a setting or something just do not know what one. Also, this happens on 2 different computers one is Win10 and one Win11.

Hi, I'm using 125% zoom normally on Reddit(classic) since I find it better for reading, but for some reason I decided to zoom out to 70%(can't remember why) and now it resets to 70% every time I close/open a tab. I tried to adjust it back to 125%, but it still resets. I went and changed the zoom max/min to 100% min and 150% max and now it stays at 100% every time. What can I do, besides resetting the whole program?

I reset the password for firefox account when logging in on a new computer and than i realized i could use my android firefox to see the password. Now the android version of firefox has all the passwords but what will happen if log in on the android device providing new password? Will that sync from the server and delete all passwords?

after the recent update 11.6.0.3 64-bit individual pages started just to crash randomly and in one instance the entire browser crashed and restarted, this is on some other websites but particularly Gmail and youtube crashed the most and now they won't work youtube keep have the loading icon on the top even though everything loaded and the player won't start gmail have the same issue and keep showing disconnected message I tried chrome and there were no issues there I tried clearing the cash and cookies and that did not help

I can not get sound to work on firefox I have tried inistalling and reinstalling with no success and followed other advice. Sound works on Duckduck Go browser and also spotify np problems there.

any Ideas? the sound just all of a sudden stopped it has done this before but fixes itself after a day or two its been almost a week now I have run out of ideas.

So...saying that I am ticked off is an understatement. I was using Firefox to do work online on Thursday (8/24). I shut my laptop down as usual at the end of the day. No issues. The next day on Friday (8/25), I turned on my laptop to do some work...no problems starting my laptop. So...that is when I discovered that my entire history is gone, bookmarks, tabs, and passwords. I have been searching through the help section and have tried to locate files to restore bookmarks and history; however, those files only have my history as of Friday (8/25) and nothing prior. So, I'm at a total loss for how to recover anything but I feel none of this is recoverable at all. I had a tabs up that were important and LOTS of important bookmarks which are probably gone. I couldn't even begin to remember all the bookmarks I had. Don't even get me going with my passwords because I will now probably have to go through the (time consuming) process of resetting my passwords on LOTS of sites. I have never encountered a situation like this where EVERYTHING was wiped. I did see that some sort of update happened on Monday (8/21) but I didn't have any problems until starting my laptop on Friday (8/25). I probably put my laptop into sleep mode M-T-W, and then when I completely shut my computer off Thursday night, everything was wiped on Friday when I turned it on because it probably updated from the update on Monday. Any thoughts? I hold out no hope to get any of this information back. Thanks!

Am I misremembering how this generally works. or have I done something to cause this. I have the Tab MIx extension which helps you to control that kind of behavior

What should I check?
