I want to import everything from avast secure browser, but ASB does not show in the browsers option. Is there a roundabout way to import everything(passwords, bookmarks etc)?

I recently installed Firefox 102.0.1 64-bit on a new WinX laptop. Using the same link as always (http://www.henderson.lib.nc.us/) I am unable to connect with my county library. I'm not having trouble with other sites. The error message says

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to www.hendersoncountync.gov. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

   The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
   Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

I turned off HTTPS-Only Mode but the problem persisted. I also tried entering this site as an exception for HTTPS-Only but that didn't help. Even after restarting the computer, Firefox continues to reset the URL to HTTPS from HTTP. My wife was able to access this website on her desktop WinX with Firefox and no problem. On my WinX desktop with Firefox I connected to https://www.hendersoncountync.gov/library instantly.

Is the HTTPS-Only Mode sticky? What am I missing?

Within the last day or two, Firefox has started opening the sidebar whenever I press "ctrl", which has caused a lot of annoying misclicks and prevents me from using "ctrl+" functions (e.g. new tab, cut, copy, paste, etc.).

How do I disable the sidebar? The instructions at the support page titled "Use the Firefox Sidebar to access bookmarks, history and synced tabs", specifically the subsection titled "Toggle the Sidebar on and off" (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/use-firefox-sidebar-access-bookmarks-history-synced), are unhelpful at best and incomprehensible at worst.

This problem is incredibly frustrating, and has even impeded me writing this request for help, since I couldn't use the keyboard to copy+paste the article title and URL.

TL;DR Please help me (permanently?) disable the sidebar from appearing.

I'm willing to debug an older release of Firefox (ver. 98.0). In order to do that, since I don't want to compile, I wanted to download the debug symbols from Mozilla's symbol server. I followed the documentation provided about this service but I still can't make the server give me something else than 404 Not Found.

From what I understood, I tried fetching symbols using this URL : https://symbols.mozilla.org/firefox/firefox-98.0-Linux-20220304153049-linux64-mozilla-release-symbols.txt

But the file doesn't exist. The /firefox sub-directory doesn't exist either.

How do I properly use this service ? Thank you for your time,

My volume on Youtube is often too low. Some time back I got a java script that fixed it. I had to do an F12 and paste it in somewhere and then I got a little rectangle at top left which said something like 'volume'. Click on that and up went the volume. Click again, up more and so on. It was good. Sometimes on things like perhaps Bitchute it wouldn't work. It would actually switch all the volume off. I'd refresh the page to fix that. Anyway: it suddenly disappeared today. The little rectangle is gone. I can't up my volume on Youtube any more. I got something from the web, a javascript, and pasted it into 'console' after F12 but i got error messages. I'm clueless. Don't know where to look for my original, see if it still there. Don't know how to troubleshoot. Don't know any other way to get the volume up. See error message on the console whenever I go there, don't know what to do about them. FYI I'll post the first few lines of them: Unknown property ‘-moz-osx-font-smoothing’. Hi I'm developer and i develop a site and when i QA it all are good in other browsers expect Firefox,some colors are different in Firefox,images are not displaying, in text fields there are little arrow icons, widths & heights sucks in some content why the hell is that i think Firefox is suck now i have to wast time to write other CSS file when some one comes with Firefox that need to change content.

I got a phishing e-mail on my mail.yahoo.com webmail interface. I deleted it but immediately received the following warning from Bitdefender:

Kinda weird that an e-mail where I didn't click any link is still able to manipulate my browser like that!

My fb account has been hacked. When I try to follow the procedure for regaining control provided by facebook, I get a pop-up window which asks for a security key via windows/mozilla. I don't know what this is or where to find it. Can you help?

I use/like the randomly-generated 'strong' password feature, but is there a setting/option to have it include one or more special character(s)? So many sites nowadays require one, and VERY few *prohibit* them. I know I can 'substitute' one in there, but I'm VERY lazy! Thanks.

Hi there, I keep getting an error message when I try to login to some secure access websites that I use for work purposes.

I get the following error report with no code #:

(*this always fails).

This is only an issue on my laptop. If I use another computer I can access the website without issue.

I received a file this morning or yesterday that states its a firefox file called _I7zEKnU. Was that from firefox? I'm concerned my computer might be compromised. Thank you.

Title sorta says it all. The other day when I opened FireFox on my laptop it said my account had been disconnected, and to re-sign in. In a long story short, I did not have my phone for several weeks and it was dead. I received it afterwards, did not allow it to connect to the internet, and still have that old profile data on my phone.

Can that data safely be retrieved or re-synced to my account? If so, how? It would be iPhone to Windows 11 install.

After opening 4 or 5 web pages I can open no more and I have to restart to continue. I have tried clearing the cache and that didn't work. I also set it to clear the cache when I close the program. That didn't help either. I have used Firefox for years without problems. How can I go back to normal function?

Devido ao fato do Chrome não manter minhas credenciais e toda vez que eu iniciava este browser eu tinha que fornecer meu login e senha além do fato do Suporte deles não ter resolvido o problema, eu decidi mudar para o Firefox apesar de não ser o mais legal nem prático e intuitivo para se navegar como o Opera e o Vivaldi, mas sim por popularidade.

-O problema: Desde ontem, a página do Gmail não abre, isto é, mostra uma página totalmente em branco conforme anexo, apesar do link estar correto e, na verdade, eu utilizar os links dos Favoritos para diminuir a digitação e aumentar a agilidade.

-Minhas tentativas de solução: Eu desabilitei todas as extensões do Firefox (eu eu já utilizava mesmo antes do problema ocorrer); Eu executei uma limpeza geral utilizando o CCleaner; Eu abri o Chrome e, para variar, me loguei (por causa do problema mencionado acima) e a página do Gmail é exibida corretamente com todos os e-mails de hoje; Eu copiei este link do Gmail, no Chrome, para utilizar no Firefox porque estavam diferentes mas mesmo assim o problema persiste.

Acabaram as ideias

Due to Chrome not keeping my credentials and every time I started this browser I had to provide my login and password in addition to the fact that their Support didn't solve the problem, I decided to switch to Firefox despite not being the coolest not practical and intuitive to navigate like Opera and Vivaldi, but by popularity.

-The problem: Since yesterday, the Gmail page does not open, that is, it shows a completely blank page as attached, although the link is correct and, in fact, I use the Favorites links to reduce typing and increase agility.

-My solution attempts: I disabled all Firefox extensions (I was using them even before the problem occurred for the first time); I performed a general cleanup using CCleaner; I opened Chrome and for a change I logged in (because of the problem mentioned above) and the Gmail page displays correctly with all of today's emails; I copied this link from Gmail, in Chrome, to use in Firefox because they were different but the problem still persists.
