My Environment: Host Machine - Intel Core i7-4771 @3.50GHz, 16GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce 210 Display Adapter, Intel Gigabit Network Connection (ISP connection is around 700MBps).
OS - Windows 7 Pro V.22H2 Browser = Firefox ver.128.0.3 64bit.
Virtual Machine (VM) - Oracle Virtual Box Ver. 7.0.20 r163906, RAM = 4GB, Network = Bridged Adapter.
OS = Windows 7 Pro V. 22H2 Browser = Firefox ver. 128.0.3 64bit.
The Problem (In my VM only because I never browse sites on my Host PC): Toronto Sun website "Sign In" Screen never loads. A quarter circle just goes round and round. The website in question is - https://torontosun.com/sign-in/ The website itself does load fine and I can browse the site and all articles. But I cannot log into the site because the "Sign in" screen never loads. Also, Firefox tabs crash very frequently on this whole website.
Firefox is the only browser that I have on both my Host and VM (I have deleted MS Edge since it cannot be uninstalled).
On my VM, I tried installing Google Chrome and it works fine. The Toronto Sun Sign In page loads fine and I can log in.
On my Host PC, Firefox actually works. I tried it to see if the "Sign In" screen appears and it does and I can log in. It is only on my VM that it does not load.
What has Changed:
The Oracle Virtual Box software was just updated from ver. VirtualBox-7.0.18-162988-Win to ver. VirtualBox-7.0.20-163906-Win.
What I have tried: I have already done the following: Cleared - "Everything" including History, cookies, Temporary Cached files and pages and Site Settings.
I do not have any add-ons or themes installed.
I have cleared all Windows and User Temp Folders and files. I have rebooted several times in the past couple of days.
I tried increasing the VM RAM from 4GB to 6GB - did not help.
I would appreciate a solution.

No good waiting, nothing responds except the exit button.
Clearly, there's a flaw in a recent update.
I'm on Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS and my Firefox is from Flatpak.
While writing this I got a Flatpak update for Firefox and Firefox.Locale - whatever that is.
So I'll park my question till I close and reopen Firefox - hopefully with a release from the big freeze-up.

Hi all, I'm running Gentoo linux on Apple M1 arm64 when after one random reboot firefox started segfaulting. Currently I've updated my system to be on the latest testing versions of packages and it's giving me the following backtrace:

With Firefox 129.0 for Windows (64-bit), I am unable to log into one of my banking sites. It always says invalid username/password. It works fine with Microsoft Edge, and another computer still on 128.0.3, and their phone app.
I have tried the normal stuff of clearing cookies and cache, safe mode, etc... No change.

Hello. Since re-installing ZoneAlarm Security Suite (due to a ZA problem) last evening, after I turned on my pc today I am getting a new tab opens up on every FireFox browser window seeking permissions for "Harmony Web Protection Privacy Policy". (There are four new tabs for that which have opened since I commenced typing this!).
Is this a ZA problem or a Firefox problem? Also, please, how do I get rid of these damned new tabs? TIA.

I already asked google and the comments are from 2022. I like to activate a third button in the save file message box. Currently there are 2 buttons and I want to activate the 3. butten named "save a copy" or like this. I want to choose the directory always self and when I like I want to decide to save a copy with this button and firefox add a copy number automaticaly. I know from google if I do not use the option "always ask where to save file" firefox do so. As background I need this when I use a auto clicker to use a button on a page to download smartmeter data files. Unfortunatly the file have always the same name and not include the date and time. Unfortunatly I am not able to configure firefox automaticaly with the auto clicker or in the crone job file.

Yesterday there was a Firefox update. After the update, I could not open Firefox. The message was that 2 files were not "compatible." I don't recall the names of the files. So, stupidly, I decided to uninstall and reinstall Firefox. Now, when I try to download Firefox, I get a message that the "virus scan failed." What do I need to do to install Firefox?
