#2 The taskbar has disappeared while firefox is open. It is not in full screen mode. How do I get the taskbar to show? (windows 7 magnifier related issue)

Someone had a thread started a while back and their problem was fixed somehow and they did not provide an answer for how they fixed it because it seemed to had resolved by itself. I have the exact same problem as Befuddled2 in: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/957093 Fortunately for him his issue resolved itself but mine seems to want to linger on.

proposed solution(workaround): Launching a program with a UAC popup seems to fix this issue

Did you try deleting the localstore.rdf file from your profile folder while Firefox is closed?

Is the taskbar set to auto-hide, by any chance? Right-click the taskbar and choose Properties. On the Taskbar tab, is "Auto-hide the taskbar" checked?

Yeah my condition is exactly the same to the post I linked to. I tried replacing localstore and my taskbar is not set to auto-hide.

Also this only occurs when the windows magnifier is turned on and some times lingers on after it has been disabled.
