I recently had to do a system restore on my Windows 7 computer. This reverted my version of Firefox from 11.0 back to 10.0.2. When I go to Firefox/help/about it shows Firefox is checking for updates but nothing happens.

Problem resolved. I uninstalled Firefox while keeping my user profile. After reinstalling the program it was updated to version 11.0

Sure. What additional detail do you need? When I go to "About Mozilla Firefox" it shows version 10.0.2. Just below that is a spinning circle which states "checking for updates." The circle just continues spinning without doing anything. Prior to doing a system restore I did have version 11.0.
