firefox update won't install, is there an issue?

I am running firefox 6.0.2 and both the auto update and manual download updater wont install version 7.0.1.

I am using windows 7.

Is there a know fault with this update? every other update ive had from mozilla for firefox has been succesful.

On the manual download it keeps telling me to close firefox in order to continue when firefox is closed.

If it says Firefox is still running, but it's actually not, you might have to just kill the process from the Task Manager (or your OS's equivalent)
