The issue is to delete unwanted bookmarks in Firefox 4.0.1.

The bookmark help menu at http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Deleting%20Bookmarks offers the instruction; Deleting more than one bookmark or folder At the top of the Firefox window, click Bookmarks, then select Organize Bookmarks.... The Library window will appear.

This issue of Firefox 4.0.1 does not have an option labeled "Organize Bookmarks." under "Bookmarks."

Is this real?

In Mac OSX click on Bookmarks tab at top, then Show all Bookmarks. It gives the same options as the old Organize Bookmarks had. Just highlight the bookmark and use the delete key.

After looking around I found the answer to my question. The menu change has made what was once obvious to somewhat obscure.

To delete URLs go to the Bookmarks Tab and select "Show All Bookmarks." When that window opens highlight "Bookmarks Menu" on the left side column and select the specific bookmark (URL) in the right side column you desire to delete.

Next, click on "Organize" near the top left and select "Cut" or "Delete" other action desired.
