On my Vista machine the tabs are on the same line and to the right of the orange Firefox button. That's great. But on my netbook with Win 7, the tabs appear on the line below. That wastes almost the entire first line, which has only the Firefox button on the left and the minimize, size and X on the right. With the small size of the netbook screen, every line is precious. How can I move the tabs to the top line, just like I somehow have on the other machine?

I think the tabs slide up into the title bar area when you maximize the browser window. However, that's anecdotal and I don't know whether it's always true or depends on the number of tabs.

Hey, that did it! Thanks! Gee, I feel like an idiot, looking for all kinds of solutions under options, customize, etc., when it was simple and right in front of my eyes all the time.
