I want to delete the favorites from the toolbar that are from IE but am unable to find a way to do this. HELP please

It is annoying and want to redo it with NO favorites and only use the bookmarks instead but cannot find anyway to take off FAVORITES from the toolbar. I was able to get them all off the bookmarks to start over but cannot get the favorites to do so. Any clues? Thanks much.

There is no favorites entry in a default installation of Firefox. If you have a menu entry for Favorites, did you install the PlainOldFavorites add-on? If you did just uninstall the add-on to remove the entry, see Disable or remove Add-ons.
