When I right click Firefox in my taskbar I have a list of "recent" links show up. I have turned this off in about:config but they still show up. Any suggestions?

Yes, I was expecting them to all be automatically removed once I had changed the value from true>false in about:config. But they were still there. Once I right clicked and removed each one, one at a time, they have since disappeared completely and haven't returned.
