CloudFlare Not my preferred DNS Server

Sir, Ma'am, QUAD 9 runs faster from my location and is my preferred DNS for IP resolution. I noticed that when using Firefox it shows Cloudflare as MY DNS. Using Brave or Edge shows my DNS as QUAD9. I set Quad9 in Windows and on my router (ip4 and ipv6), yet Firefox and Firefox is only browser showing Cloudflare. Please advise via email. I am not afraid of using about:config. MUCH Thanks. J.
