I changed the password for my gmail account - now Thunderbird cannot access my email. I have been under options / security. Also under account settings. I cannot find where Thunderbird has stored the password for my gmail account. Version 60.5.3

This is odd. Apparently in Thunderbird version 60.5.3 the password for my email account is automatically removed from the password list when it no longer works. The correct solution is simply to close Thunderbird and re-launch. It will then prompt for the email password. After the new password is entered it is then put back on the password list.

The password in question - that for my gmail account - is not even on the list. In fact the list is very short containing only passwords dating back 5 years. Nothing for my email account thru gmail. Nothing recent at all.
