My laptop crashed fortunately everything backed up except my Mozilla Bookmarks are they gone forever or someway I have access?

Fortunately I have always backed up everything on my computer. My laptop crashed the other day and now I have no access it appears to my years of research kept on Mozilla bookmarks. Are they gone forever or is there someway that I can get access to them. In other words, are Mozilla bookmarks only specific to that one computer and once it crashes they are gone for ever unless I had done something preemptively?

Was the computer damaged? What about the hard drive? If the hard drive is not damaged, you can have it mounted as an external drive.
