Firefox Quantum continually wants to be updated even after I do it! Reverts to previous version as if never updated.

Using Firefox Quantum version 60.1with Windows 7 Enterprise. Keep getting popup boxes telling me to upgrade to version 60.2 which I do. Afterwards, checking "About Mozilla Firefox" indicates system has been upgraded. It doesn't stick, I keep getting multiple message to do this same upgrade, and when I recheck "About Mozilla Firefox" the system appears to have reverted to the earlier 60.1 version. I suspect a bug in Mozilla's upgrade program. Thanks in advance for any assistance you can render.

Can you go to about:config and turn set the preference

app.update.log

to true?

Then go through the process where you are downgraded to 60.1? Then open up the Javascript console (Ctrl+Shift+J) and it should have logging information you can give us to help figure it out.
