When moving a tab to another Firefox window fullscreen no longer works

I have two monitors and when I have Firefox open on both with a video playing on one screen, if I move the video tab to the other window of Firefox the full screen button no longer works. This happens with youtube, netflix, and vimeo.

Does F11 work for entering Full Screen mode in that situation?

F11 causes the browser to go fullscreen, but not the video
