I bookmark a page. Firefox puts it at the bottom of the list of bookmarks, which I can see when I am simply accessing the list of bookmarks by clicking the "Bookmarks" menu at the very top of the browser. When doing that I see the recently added bookmark(s). However, when I try using the Bookmark Manager to move those bookmarks into folders where it would make more sense to keep them, those new bookmarks don't appear on the list??? All I can see is a list of folders and subfolders (which I created). WHERE are the bookmarks that are yet to be characterized?

I'm running Firefox 48 on a Mac laptop (OS-X).

Look in the Other Bookmarks or Unsorted Bookmarks folder.

The "name" for "Unsorted Bookmarks" was changed in Firefox 48 to "Other Bookmarks" - don't know if that is the same on MacOSX as on Windows versions of Firefox and if it affects only fresh installations or the updated versions, too.
