Several Firefox issues have appeared over the last month. If I've logged off and closed Firefox, I can't reopen it by using either the desktop icon OR going right to the folder and clicking on firefox.exe. While browsing, I can NOT open a link in another window. On all sites, if there is a Javascript link (for example, a smiley menu), clicking on it does nothing...no internal window appears. Firefox 4 is NOT an option as a full one third of my plugins do NOT work with it and there is no option to upgrade those plugins.

The problem is with java script used by Skype.
