I have many companies and organizations that tell me that their website does not support Firefox, only Chrome and Edge. As I would like to divorce myself from Google and Microsoft as much as possible I would like to know what issues there are with supporting your browser. I am switching to Linux as my OS and Mint comes with Firefox. I understand I can get Linux versions of Chrome and Edge but that is really not my preference. Thanks.

That is something those sites decided on many factors not just because it's Firefox. You don't know what sites support what Browser unless you ask that of the Webmasters of those sites. Firefox isn't in the business of telling sites which Browser to support that is up to the webmaster of those sites to decide.

I was just asking what issues or reasons, what differences there may be with Firefox versus the other browsers. If it's security then I may have to just go with the others. I am certainly not asking Firefox to tell the sites to support it, and I have been trying to contact some to find out why they don't.

It's not about security. Websites' security is not dependent of the browser. Firefox is as much secure as any other browser.

It may be secure, but that's not the problem. When the Scotiabank changed it investments to digital Firefox was mentioned as a browser that would work with it. I can not get it to work with it and when I asked the help from Scotiabank why I could not get it to work, they said I would have to use Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome. Is this true? I will not use Edge or Google, and have not used them for a few years now. If the banking system is forcing people to use Edge and Google only, then that is a case of those companies trying to monopolize the market again. Can someone help me out here. This is the error:
