I have installed Firefox 10 and 11 in Windows 8 consumer preview.

It randomly presents unwanted artifacts especially on the tabs. E.g. when i right click on a tab, it may get the color of the firefox button (orange). If I click on sth in a page, some tab gets the color of the element I clicked. Other times, just maximizing and minimizing the window gets tabs colors mixed.

My graphics card is nVidia geforce 8200 GS

Try to disable hardware acceleration.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

I already did that and it fixed the problem. Is there a way to enable hardware acceleration only for the webpages and not the UI?
