After an automatic update, Firefox won't load...app doesn't respond. Can't access FF preferences to clear cache, so I dumped all copies and re-installed. Same problemn. How can I get FF up and running again?

I'm using a macbook pro OSX 10.5.8. All software is updated, no problems using Safari to access websites...everything loads.

Try deleting /Users/<account name>/Library/Preferences/org.mozilla.firefox.plist. You could also remove the cache just in case.

/Users/<account name>/Library/Caches/org.mozilla.firefox

Try deleting /Users/<account name>/Library/Preferences/org.mozilla.firefox.plist. You could also remove the cache just in case.
