HELP! I've been searching for 3 hours. I can't find the answer. I want to remove the box that comes up when my curser touches a place where I want to click. I do not know what it is called. But an example is I put my cursor on a tab and a box comes up that says" Reload Tad, Mute Tab, Pin Tab, Duplicate Tab and etc. It also comes up when I try to fill in passwords or boxes with other information. It is annoying and I want to get rid of it! Please help me.

What you mention sounds like you get the context menu that you get if you right-click in a specific area. On Mac you can also get the context menu if you hold the left mouse button for too long. You can disable this feature by setting this pref to false on the about:config page.

  • ui.click_hold_context_menus

See also:

  • ui.click_hold_context_menus.delay

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.
