I've been trying to download something for 3 days which shouldve been done in less than one, but firefox thinks its okay to make any download fail if you pause it and shut down your computer. I'm pretty sure that firefox stated that when you pause a download you can pick it right back up exactly where you left off. Looks like thats not the case at all...

  1. Resuming a download after pausing it is dependent upon the server from where the download is coming from. Not all servers have the resume functionality.
  2. Doesn't always work if Firefox has been closed and then resume is tried.
