If I don't reboot the TS every week then the internet seems to run extremely slow. A reboot seems to fix the problem. I have tried disabling my anti virus (AVG) but that doesn't seem to make a difference

I understand that you are running Firefox on a Terminal Server?

I also understand that it slows down after a while, try to change the cache if there are enough resources. However this is not for all computers, as the default numbers are set for bet performance on system requirements.
