I need to download the Adobe Shockwave Player for Firefox so I can have everything ready for one of my courses that requires it. However, when I go to download it it fails every time. I've tried to manually download/install the plugin, but nothing changes. I read that Adobe Shockwave Player is only supported on 32-bit versions of Firefox, but I also read that Firefox is only released in 32-bit versions. I'm using a 64-bit version of Windows 7, so I was pretty sure that when I first installed Firefox on my computer that it was a 64-bit version, but I must have been wrong.

Can you help me get this installed?

Try using this installer, https://ninite.com/firefox-shockwave/ to download and install the latest version of Shockwave. Make sure all other programs are closed before running.
