I first mentioned this in r/Firefox, and was asked to re-post here.

My FF just updated to 127.0.1 even though I have "Check for updates but let you choose to install them" and told it to wait. This was on a Windows 11 box. Everything seemed fine, but then one of my tabs crashed. I selected the reload tab option, at which point it informed me it could not load the tab because a background update had happened and I was now required to restart Firefox.

I'm not certain what version of FF I was on, I believe it was either 126 or 126.0.1.

Now, to be completely fair, I cannot with 100% certainty say that I clicked on the update later option. That said, as I _did not want to update then_, and I have put off the update before, it seems unlikely I would have made the mistake, but I wasn't recording everything I did so I can't play it back and prove it. My initial reaction was to associate it with the tab crashing somehow, as everything was working as expected right up until that moment.

I use a ThinkPadNotebook with Windows. While surfing with Firefox, in a careless moment I clicked "allow" at a notification request of a suspicious website (qltuh.check-tl-ver-116-1.com). After this a few other websites opened up rapidly and soon after notification at the bottom right corner of the screen appeared. I immediately went offline and deactivated the corresponding permission for notifications in firefox. In particular, I did not follow any link displayed on the bottom right notifications.

My question is: Did simply granting permission of notification to this webiste create a security risk on my desktop? Or can I rest assured, since I revoked the permission and in the meantime did not follow any links displayed by the notification?

It has been four weeks now that you have disabled PasswordBoss I have been using firefox for about 15 years now. I under stand that PasswordBoss has sent you the information you requested and you have done nothing for three weeks now please fix this or i will uninstall Firefox and never use it again. I am sure you really don't care but i have quite a few clients that use Firefox and PassordBoss as well i will also recommend removal of firefox as well This is ridicules that is is taking this long.

My firefox recently stopped auto populating my usernames and passwords. I have double and triple checked all my settings. I have updated to latest release of Firefox. I have rebooted my computer. Please help

When I visit U Tube and click on a video it never loads. I get the rotating circle but it never completes. If i click on the progress bar at the bottom a small window opens the video at that point, bur it never loads. I have removed all add ons, refreshed Firefox, rebooted the computer. It only happens on this computer. I run Firefox on two other computers and they work fine. I run windows 11, updated on a year old Dell Pavilion laptop with 32 mgs of ram

Hello, Our DNS supports SVCB and HTTPS records. We setup HTTPS is alias mode and want to redirect a HTTPS connection from Host_A to Host_B. Here a example: communication.baloise.be. 30 IN HTTPS 1 communicationbaloisebe.customdomain.chkmkt.com.

I can see that the Firefox sent a HTTPS request, got back the correct answer, but does not connect to the new host B. A lot people required that DNS support SVCB /HTTPS records, but the browsers do not.

When will Firefox support the Alias mode for SVCB / HTTPS Records?

Until this week I had no problems logging in on Firefox on laptop too Ebay Now as soon as put in user name it says we have ran into a problem.. Please try again later. They have troubleshot in their end and no problems, they say its Firebox as there are a few others with same problem I can log in using Edge, Chrome, and also firefox on mobile .. its just Firefox desktop. on same device

History not kept. cookies deleted cache cleared.. no bookmark

Firefox is not sending any of the device details so unable to use Firefox with conditional access.

Details like "Managed" and "Join type" would be needed to be able to process it correctly.

Does Firefox support it? If not will it ever be supported or will we have to go back to Edge just so we can sign into Azure sites?

Hi, I use multiple FF profiles to help with multiple logins to MS365, as I have to switch between MS365 accounts for client work. Using multiple profiles keeps cookies separate. FF is my default browser in Windows 11. However, when I click on a link, FF ignores my open FF instance (opened with the default FF profile). Instead it reopens one of my other profiles from disk, and opens the link in a new tab in that profile. That's not what I want, of course - but I also cannot understand why it is ignoring an open active FF default profile browser instance, and reopening a closed one from disk. Does anyone know how I can control this? To avoid this behavior I have made Vivaldi my default browser to open new links. That is crazy.

Please help, Firefox will not start. Last night after 8:00 PM 7/24/24 it would not open. I get this Windows 10 error message; XUL runner: Error platform version 128.0.2 is Not compatible with 128.0 min 128.0 max

Idk exactly what happened, other than that I changed emails on my Mozilla account and when I signed into connect.mozilla.org with it, it had me create a new username. My old profile page is still up.

Recently today I changed my firefox password, and successfully used my new password to login. Now I am unable to login successfully using what I believed to be my new password. A few minutes ago I was able to access gmail using my new password, but just now when I closed and reopened Firefox my password was not accepted.

I have auto fill password turned on, yet Firefox NEVER fills in the password, or my e-mail. Each and ever time I have to type it in, Firefox asks to save or update, I say yes, and password and e-mail are saved, yet the next I go to that site I have to type it in manually. I see the password and e-mail are saved accurately yet no auto-fill why?

I have a new windows laptop pc and trying to sync my information from this account to the firefox on the new laptop. I'm having a problem. I'm signed in on the old and the new but it will not sync to the new. What am I doing wrong? When I tried to sign Mozilla keeps telling me my pw is wrong! Huh? I'm signed in now. Is there a different pw for Firefox and Mozilla? I'm so confused!
