I want to see the stats for the video currently playing (resolution, frame rate, etc...)

i've confirmed this setting media.video_stats.enabled is true.

i right click on a video but no option to see stats.

does this exist? i've looked for an extension too but cant find any.

You can use the DevTools Media Panel extension on Nightly.

so i have to use nightly instead of firefox stable release?

i wonder why there is no easy way to see this info? i would think by now i can just right click on any video playing in the browser and select an option for video stats.

same situation on chrome.

internet searches so very few inquiries about a feature like this. does no one want something like this?
