I'm using a desktop that is running Windows 8 Professional. I can type in chrome and on all other programs on the computer. I can get the function keys to work in Firefox but no letters show up. I tried starting in safe mode and had no change. I also updated Firefox. Please Help. Thank You.

Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?
