Hi,

First, thanks for the nice update. FF 29 feels smoother to me, and faster. However, I miss the extra browsing space I had in FF 28 by merging the tabs to the right of the URL bar. Having such a huge URL bar is a waste of space.

Also, is there any way to get tabs that don't match the color of their respective bar? (blue tabs, blue bar, grey tabs, gray bar after clicking "title" in customize).

Thanks for any help.

Hello,

  1. Install Classic Theme Restorer and restart Firefox when prompted.
  2. Open the Add-ons Manager (Ctrl+Shift+A; Mac: Command+Shift+A), then the Extensions category.
  3. Next to Classic Theme Restorer, click the Options button.
  4. On the Main tab, set the following, then close the options window when done.
    • Tabs: Curved tabs (alternative)
    • Application button: Button disabled
    • General UI: Movable Back/Forward button
  5. Right-click an empty area of the tab bar and choose Customize.
  6. Drag the Back/Forward button, the address bar, the ≡ Menu Button and whatever other items you're interested in onto the tab bar.
  7. Drag all unwanted items off the navigation toolbar onto the customization palette.
  8. Open the Add-ons Manager (Ctrl+Shift+A; Mac: Command+Shift+A), then the Extensions category.
