Let's get it right. You did a factory reset (erased everything) on your computer and you lost your password to your e-mail that was saved in Firefox? Am i right?

yes. I apologize sometimes it's hard for me to put my thoughts and to text lol. But yes I cannot log on to my firefox because I erased everything on my computer and did not save passwords or email addresses

Unfortunately, as I said in my first post, it is not possible because the files that save your passwords were in your Firefox folder but since you did a factory reset, it erased everything including your saved passwords. Keep in mind, this does not erase your account, just your saved password so you won't have to type your password in every time.

If you saved key3.db and signons.sqlite from your old Firefox profile folder, I would be able to tell you how to restore them. Did you make a backup of your firefox folder?

If you didn't, you can use the link I posted above (Reset WMConnect Password) to reset it. (If you have the e-mail address handy) Otherwise, you would have to contact AOL directly about your problem as we don't deal with that.

A number of reasons:

1. Usually when users do factory resets, we encourage them to back up their Firefox folders to restore back. It's a hassle to get all your bookmarks, passwords, etc in order again. So that's a big precautionary tip to use!
2. Users usually come on the forum asking questions about this BEFORE doing this.

But I'm pretty sure that you are unable to get your passwords from the old Firefox configuration after factory resetting,
