NICE search engine keeps on taking over the home page or search engines I set! I refresh firefox and it works for a while then the problem comes again. It also doesn't let me choose FIREFOX as my default browser.

Hi   !
First:   remove   Nicesearches   from your computer, by going to the   Control Panel > Programs;   find the not so nice program and remove it.
In the 3-bar menu > Add-ons > look for it there and remove it   (and any other suspicious looking extension you may see).
Then run most   (or all)   of the malwarescans as mentioned in   'Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware':     http://mzl.la/1xKrH3p
