Firefox works perfectly for myself when I am on my user page, but when my wife signs into her home screen, Firefox will not load at all. I have tried right-clicking and selecting "open" but still no results. I tried selecting "troubleshoot compatibility issues" but that got me no where as well. I basically just check e-mail and perform searches, whereas she is all about facebook & the games associated with facebook. Any suggestions?

Is your account haveing problems with the same sites?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

Where there any warning messages?

Thank you for the input, Holding down "shift" and trying to open Firefox in safe mode did not open the program either.

 Any other ideas?

Hmm. When the program is started, does the icon show up? If yes, Right click on the icon and select Open New Window. Sometimes this works. If it opens, close it by Menu > File > Exit.
