When I click on a URL in one of my emails using gmail in Firefox, Firefox opens a new tab but the target URL never materialiizes. If I copy and paste the URL to another tab, the page works. appreciate any help you can provide.

There have been a few reports of this today. It appears to be an issue on Google's end, so all that we can do is wait it out until their developers create a patch. Sorry for any inconvenience in the meantime.

Do you happen to have the "Amazon Assistant" addon on Firefox? If so, please try disabling that.
