I spend a lot of time clicking through the "This Connection is untrusted" screens (3 each time?). This is a real pain when dealing with major vendors like Apple, AT&T, and many others. How can I tell Firefox to stop telling me and blocking my access every time a web page changes location within a site like Apple. It is a major irritant.

Thank yo very much.

Are the date and time on the computer correct?

Read the forums, both on and off Mozilla - checked that item and it is correct via internet time server at Apple, same time shown as iPhone, iPad, iMac, Dell laptop, HP laptop.

Any other suggestions? I noticed that there were several hundred posts about this issue for version 3.5 but haven't seen too many since.

This is a real block to my continued use of Firefox. Have used for a long time without these issues.

Thanks-

You can retrieve the certificate and check details like who issued the certificate.

  • Click the link at the bottom of the error page: "I Understand the Risks"

Let Firefox retrieve the certificate: "Add Exception" -> "Get Certificate".

  • Click the "View..." button to inspect the certificate and check who is the issuer and other details.

I have version 8.0 and it is still doing this, and with mozilla sites no less.
