Who closes these threads?
I found some good information in the thread- "How do I disable automatic updates in 68.1.1 32bit?" asked by tomtips with a good solution by Toad-Hall. Other than the chosen solution, the other responses are not helpful. I wanted to post a "thank you, the solution worked well" but the thread is closed. This thread is less than a year old.

They close automatically after a period of time (one year would be much too long). Closing a topic doesn't mean people can't reference or find it.
