Here are: Windows 7 Professional (x64) Service Pack 1 (build 7601) Thunderbird 60.5.0 (32-bit) Images embedded within incoming emails are not displayed. But they can be seen in www-mail - say gmail site. Besides I tried to download these emails with the help of other mail client (Essential PIM Pro) - all images are in their places. It shows that something wrong is with my TB installation. But what? Message body is displayed in original HTML. Remote content in messages is allowed. Adaptive junk filter logging is enabled. No alerts about blocking remote images. Any hints are welcome.

Thank you everybody - who was not in a hurry to help me with this issue. It gave me time to find solution elsewhere. It is: permissions.default.image should be set to 1 using theconfig editor. I am happy finding this clever idea with my own efforts.

As I understand now unseen images are blocked as remote content. My problem is: the message: "To protect your privacy, Thunderbird has blocked remote content in this message" - never appears, and I cannot push the corresponding button which can allow it. Message body is displayed in original HTML. I tried to change: "mailnews.message_display.disable_remote_image" to "true", then "false" - it does not help.
