How can I set rules for the destination of deleted messages, as I appear to have four different trash folders for my two active email identities?

I want to know how to set up a trash folder for each of my identities, and to direct deleted emails into it automatically, and I want it to have the wastebin icon and to show me a warning before I finally delete items. At the moment, I have two Trash folders with wastebin icons, one under my secondary email identity and one in local folders, and two without the wastebin icon, one under my main identity and one in local folders. When I delete emails from my secondary identity, they go into that identity's Trash bin with the wastebin icon, and when I go to delete them finally I am warned that it is irrevocable. I can't find out where the deleted items from my main identity go to. I want the same sequence for my main identity as I have for the other one, and then I can delete the other "Trash" files. I also want to avoid sent mail appearing n Trash folders, which, for mysterious reaons, it sometimes does. All help gratefully received. John

I seem to have solved this myself, by deleting all the unwanted Trash folders, which has left me with/recreated the ones I want!
