why does "recently bookmarked" show URLs that I haven't bookmarked?

If I go to "recently bookmarked" it show a list of pages that I have visited but not bookmarked. This isn't just recent history, it's like random pages from recent history.

Problems with bookmarks and history not working properly can be caused by a corrupted places.sqlite database file.

You can try to check and repair the places database with this extension:
