Used pc shower from arasoft which seems to have deleted all bookmarks but now unable to restore from back up and unable to import from saved html file. What else can i do to get bookmarks back? Automatic bookmarking also seems to have been disabled

Have removed PC shower from system. When I try to bookmark a page either from bookmark toolbar or star in address I get a page of details to fill in. Why has this been re set?

Thanks for your help- new profile works fine- imported html file no problem - may the road rise up to meet your feet !!

A possible cause may have been a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
