The article says that the best way to update Firefox is to do it from Play store. It says to tap on the my apps link to see which apps need to be updated but there is no my apps Link in Play store.

Solution: open play store app, tap on profile icon, tap on manage apps and device, wait for checking for updates to finish, if it says updates available tap on see details, if Firefox is showing tap update now.
