Search: tools>option https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/thunderbird#search

Found 1038 results for ‘tools>options’ for ‘Thunderbird’

As shown in the attached screen dump, it seems that there are NO filters, especially "by date", for this page. There is a "Filter by PRODUCT" in the right column, but these 1,038 hits are ALREADY filtered by "Thunderbird".

I just wanted to point out to several of the posters that the universal selection for "Open mail in new window", which USED to be in "Tools> ...", is now (I'm just now changing to Thunderbird 78.???) in the "Display the Thunderbird Menu" tool which is the icon with 3 horizontal bars at the far right end of the "Mail Toolbar". Somebody might graciously put that information in the FAQ section as it is VERY difficult to find this RECENT situation in all of the OLD stuff in the support forum.

There used to be Advanced Search that offered date filters, but it has apparently been removed. A better option is to search the site on Google with the site:support.mozilla.org argument, for example. Click the Tools button on the search page to limit the results by time.
